What it involves
As is seen in the box above, the Executive Health Check-Up involves a large number of tests, a lot more when compared to the Basic and Master package. Given this, it will take longer than usual to obtain all the results you want, and we request that you allow yourself more time for these tests.
We currently do not offer ultrasound abdomen, mammography and chest- x-ray at our service, but are working on obtaining the required equipment in the near future. We will recommend the best place to get these tests done, so that you have them ready for your consultation with us.
On the day of the test, we will request that you arrive early in the morning to have your fasting blood tests performed. Following this, you will have an echocardiogram and treadmill test (if appropriate), followed by a short break. During this break, you can go and have your breakfast and return 2 hours after for your post prandial blood sugar test. Following this you will be requested to have your ultrasound abdomen and mammogram at a nearby diagnostic centre, and the reports will be handed to you. All these tests will take a whole morning to perform.
We will see you in the afternoon with the results of all your tests, and will go through any health problems that you have and perform a detailed clinical examination.
The entire test including all the investigations and the consultation will take a whole day to perform, so we kindly request that you allow yourself sufficient time and consider taking a day off work if needed.
Preparing for the test
Please arrive to our clinic on an empty stomach. You should not have had any food or drink prior to your blood test, as this can give you wrong blood results. The treadmill test requires that you bring walking shoes (or trainers) with you, but if you forget, we can offer them to you. The abdominal ultrasound requires that you have a full urinary bladder, and all you need to do is make sure you drink enough water before the test.
Other than these, no other special preparations are necessary.
Arranging the test
We do not fix appointments for our Executive Health Check-Up through email. Kindly call us to arrange an appointment. You can get our contact details here.
